This page explains how to delete a DealsPlug business account and what happens to your information. DealsPlug is operated by Linnas Labs LLC.
If you only browse deals
You don't have an account. Your saved deals, reminders, favorite restaurants and birthday are stored only on your phone. Delete the app to remove all of it.
If you turned on deal alerts, we keep a push token for your copy of the app, the restaurants you follow, your alert settings and a rough area (about 7 miles), with nothing that identifies you. Turning deal alerts off in the app deletes them. If you delete the app, we delete them the next time an alert can't be delivered.
Delete your business account in the app
- Open DealsPlug and log in to your business account.
- Tap the Business tab to open your Business Dashboard. (In older versions of the app: the Info tab, then Own a Restaurant?.)
- Tap the menu (three dots) in the top right corner, then Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted right away.
Ask us to delete it
If you can't open the app, email us at info@dealsplugapp.com from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We'll confirm the request comes from you, delete the account within 30 days, and reply when it's done.
What gets deleted
- Your login (email address and password).
- Your business details: business name, contact name, email, phone number, category, logo and locations.
- Your deal submissions, including ones still waiting for review.
- Your listing claims and the notes you wrote with them.
- An active Pro Partner subscription is canceled, so you aren't charged again, and active Featured placements stop.
What we keep
- Payment records: what was bought, the amount, the date and its status, kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require (typically up to seven years). They are no longer linked to your account.
- Published deals: deals that were already approved may stay visible as public listings, no longer linked to your account. Email us if you want them taken down too.
